Meet Lanetta Allen, an Atlanta native, is an entrepreneur, consultant, and teacher of the Word with over a decade of experience in business development, book publishing, and nonprofit financial operations. She founded Because There’s More Publishing LLC to help indie authors bring their stories to life and AMA Consulting Group to support small businesses and nonprofits in building strong foundations.
Writing was never something she planned – it was simply an outlet, a way to process life and give voice to her experiences. But God had other plans. Through His grace, she realized how powerful our stories can be and the hope they bring when shared. This year, she is relaunching her debut book, Reflections from the Heart – My Journey to Wholeness through the Poetic, along with her second work, For Your Eyes Only – Words of Faith, Love & Romance.
When Lanetta’s not working, she enjoys the arts, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Reflections from the Heart is a collection of poems and reflections that capture my journey from brokenness to wholeness. Through raw emotions and honest moments, this book is a testament to how God can take every part of our story – the good, the bad, and the painful – and transform it into something beautiful for His glory. This book is one of the many beautiful things that came out of my experience.

I’m excited about the upcoming release of my second published work, For Your Eyes Only – Words of Faith, Love & Romance. Writing these pieces was a refreshing journey, giving me an outlet to express the hopeful romantic in me – hopeful that true love is real and not just an abstract fantasy found in our favorite love stories. There is a Ruth for Boaz, a Prince Charming for Cinderella, and a Sleeping Beauty awakening to the kiss of pure love. Join me as we explore the thrill of love’s awakening – the fears and longings, the cautionary flags, and the faith to move beyond past pain to embrace love and romance once again.
I dedicate this book to all who have suffered a deep wound to the heart and wondered, Will I ever be able to love again? To trust again? Yes, my sister! Yes, my brother! With God, anything is possible. You can be free to love and trust again!
