We are excited to provide a platform for poets, psalmists, and spoken word artists to showcase their talents. To ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for all attendees, please adhere to the following guidelines:

1. Registration:

   • Open mic participants must register in advance. The registration fee is $10, which is in addition to the general admission fee of $5.

2. Performance Time:

   • Each performer is allotted a maximum of 5 minutes. Please respect this time limit to ensure everyone has an opportunity to perform.

3. Content:

   • Performances must be free of profanity, vulgar language, and derogatory content. We aim to create a respectful environment for all attendees.

4. Respect:

   • Show respect to all performers and attendees. Listen attentively and support your fellow artists.

5. Preparation:

   • Arrive early to check in and familiarize yourself with the stage setup. Be ready when your name is called.

6. Original Work:

   • We encourage performers to present original pieces. If you are performing someone else’s work, please credit the original author.

7. Microphone Etiquette:

   • Handle the microphone with care. Adjust the mic stand if necessary, but avoid tapping or blowing into the mic.

8. Feedback:

   • If you wish to provide feedback to other performers, do so respectfully and constructively.

9. Safety:

   • Follow all venue rules and guidelines to ensure the safety and comfort of all participants.
